iCharts are now being embedded into articles in NYT.

For the journalists/bloggers, it was so easy to embed chart. All they had to do was fins the chart on the NVCA web site and click on Embed Chart. And then paste it into their article.

iCharts has an interesting concept called Chartbox. The idea is that you can package several charts into one and scroll thru. You can achieve the same by having the same charts in mnay PPT slides. But that is not an effective way to scroll through data.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics houses massive amounts of data. All of them available on their web site for free. Using iCharts, we were able to create charts out of these data in no time.

We simply saved the data as CSV file and upload to iCharts where we created the chart below. The beauty is that every time I change the chart, the chart below will always reflect the updated version.
